For more than twenty years, Julissa Soto has dedicated her career to being a leading advocate for Latino immigrant equality, inclusion and health equity in Colorado and throughout the nation. We did it! 3 Years. 300 Community-Based Clinics. 30,000 Latinos Vaccinated. And we’re just getting started! I want to say thank you to the many amazing public health agencies, clinics, colleges, associations, students, nurses, Promotoras, community health workers, community agencies and colleagues who I have had the opportunity to work with and who have joined me in partnership to break down barriers to care and advance health equity throughout Colorado and the United States. Together, we will not only disrupt systems, but work together to bring forth positive, systemic change that transforms public health and improves health outcomes across the board.
